Guest Ratings & Reviews
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The location was convenient, close to the park and racecourse, but there were some issues with the TV. The dining experience was good value for money with a spacious bathroom, although limited dining options in town.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel even provided two separate rooms to accommodate my family booking at no extra charge. However, the room was situated in a way that it got uncomfortably hot from early afternoon to sunset, despite the ceiling fan not making much of a difference.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel, tucked away from the busy road, providing a quiet atmosphere. The rooms, although different from what I initially booked, were spacious and peaceful. The service was top-notch with accommodating owners and convenient amenities. The location was excellent, close to everything we needed and ideal for attending events at the TSB Stadium. However, the dining options were limited, and while the facilities were great overall, they lacked certain key features.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room featured an almost fully functional kitchen, a king-size comfy bed, and a TV, but the view over the concrete in front of our unit was not the most appealing. The service was excellent, with staff happy to store our bikes, being friendly and chatty, and offering extra towels and other amenities, although room service and housekeeping could have been more efficient. The location was great for reaching the TSB Stadium for events but lacked in overall charm. The dining experience provided great value for money but was limited in options. The facilities were good but could use some updates.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was tidy, comfy, and clean, offering all the facilities we needed at no extra charge for a family booking. The service was top-notch, with staff happy to store our bikes and replace any faulty items promptly. The location was excellent for getting around town and enjoying nearby attractions. The dining experience was great value for money, offering a spacious bathroom with a spa bath. Overall, a fantastic hotel with great value for the money.
I was lucky to get two separate rooms during my stay. The rooms had plenty of space to move around, just like being at home. It did take a couple of hours to warm up due to the size of the heater provided, so that was a bit of a downside. The hotel staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home. I'm definitely considering staying again soon with my family. They were friendly, chatty, and even offered me extra towels. I had just arrived and needed to turn around again to go home, and they were very concerned for my welfare. The location was perfect for where I needed to go and the park nearby was great for walking around. It was really convenient being so close to everything, especially TSB Stadium. The dining experience was great value for money, especially with a very spacious bathroom featuring a spa bath with great water pressure for the shower. Additionally, the hotel facilities were top-notch, offering everything I needed.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was quiet and peaceful, away from the busy road, making it a nice and quiet retreat. The service was outstanding, with the staff being incredibly helpful and friendly. The proximity to Pukakura Park and the racecourse added to the charm of the location. The dining experience was excellent, offering great value for money. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great and not-so-great experiences. The location was superb, very close to the stadium and conveniently near the city and beaches. The room was clean, but it was uncomfortably hot inside, and the big open shower wasn't to my liking. However, the service was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly friendly and accommodating to my family needs. The dining experience offered good value for money, and the facilities were decent.
I loved the fact that we were upgraded to two separate rooms to accommodate my family at no extra charge. However, we had to park our car away from our room, which was a bit inconvenient. The room was nice and warm, but I wish there was air conditioning available.
I absolutely loved the spa at the hotel, but parking our car away from the room was a bit inconvenient. The room was extremely cold and took a couple of hours to warm up due to the small size of the heater provided.
